OUR STORY

Hammonds Glamping began in 2021 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and the boom of the ‘staycations’.

Stephen Isaac, a Horsley farmer and family man, wanted to find a way to use his land to bring friends and families together in a safe outside space.

The site was set up with families in mind, creating a comfortable, safe and sociable place to meet with others and enjoy a well-deserved break from home life.

The staff team is a family affair, with Stephen’s grown up son’s and friends working throughout the summer holidays to look after the guests, while the site was managed by the resident Farmer Paul and his wife Tash who was our brilliant site manager, alongside her invaluable dad Dave.

2025 saw the departure of Paul and Tash, onto pastures new and a new manager step in.  Maxine arrived, with her pink hair and head full of ideas.  Her first season in 2025 was hugely successful and she is so excited to welcome all the guests who arrive to make memories at Hammonds Glamping.

Each year we are developing the site and adding more features to create a destination for families, both local and further afield, to come back year after year to enjoy a good dose of countryside fun.

We really hope you enjoy your stay with us.
